The company stated that Kubasik's alleged conduct did not involve and has no impact on L3Harris's financial reporting, controls, customer relationships, or operational performance. The Melbourne, Florida-based company announced that Sam Mehta has been appointed as president and CEO, and Lewis Hay III, previously the lead independent director, will now serve as chairman. The leadership change was announced on August 17, 2026, and the company's stock (LHX) showed a slight positive movement of +1.16% on the news.
