ConflictRheinmetall will supply the German Bundeswehr with an additional 149 mobile rescue stations, valued at over 500 million euros, under a framework contract awarded in late 2024. This call-off, the largest ever for Rheinmetall Project Solutions GmbH, brings the total ordered to 165 systems worth over 600 million euros. The highly mobile container-based medical stations are designed for rapid emergency care in the field, incorporating lessons from the Ukraine war. Each station consists of two containers with generators and air conditioning for multi-day autonomous operation, offering a fully equipped emergency treatment station and four additional treatment stations. Production is set to begin in the first quarter of 2027. The system replaces a complex tent solution with a modular container design for better transport and setup in difficult terrain.
