Rahul Gandhi demands accountability from NTA over UGC-NET exam cancellation

The NTA cited faulty papers and repeated old questions as reasons for the cancellation, announcing retests in September 2026. Gandhi accused the NTA of making mistakes that penalize students, calling the system an 'extraction machine' that wastes students' time, money, and mental health. He demanded accountability from NTA leadership, stating that the resignation of Dharmendra Pradhan was only a first step. The Congress has been targeting the NTA following previous exam irregularities, including the NEET paper leak.
