PoliticsOn August 16, 2026, candidates for the Bombay High Court clerk recruitment typing test protested in Chhatrapati Sambhajinagar, alleging server failures and computer malfunctions. Cockroach Janata Party (CJP) convenor Abhijeet Dipke joined the demonstration, demanding a fresh test. Candidates reported screens turning yellow, keyboards failing, and being logged out within minutes. The Bombay High Court acknowledged some technical issues at centers in Aurangabad and Kalyan, stating they are being examined. Around 2,900 candidates from Marathwada and Vidarbha appeared for the test, with 13,000 eligible across Maharashtra for 1,300 posts. Dipke criticized the authorities for inadequate infrastructure and demanded a written assurance for a re-examination, vowing to support the protest until demands are met.
