FinanceArcher Aviation has signed definitive agreements to acquire Boeing subsidiaries Wisk Aero, SkyGrid, and Insitu, aiming to bolster its physical AI platform in aerospace and defense. The deal integrates Wisk's autonomous flight expertise (16 years, six eVTOL generations, 1,700+ flight tests), SkyGrid's digital air traffic management tools, and Insitu's unmanned aircraft systems (deployed in 35 nations). Combined, these entities have nearly two million flight hours. Archer will enhance its ZEE AI platform for air taxis, UAS, and air traffic management. Boeing retains access to Wisk's core autonomous flight technology and a stake in Archer. Financial terms were undisclosed; the transaction is subject to regulatory approval and expected to close by end of 2026.
