According to The Sun and Portuguese media, Cristiano Ronaldo and Georgina Rodriguez signed a prenuptial agreement on August 10th, the day before their secret wedding in Cascais, Portugal. The agreement adopts a 'separation of property' regime, meaning Georgina will not automatically receive half of Ronaldo's wealth in case of divorce. Instead, each party retains assets registered in their own name. If divorced, Georgina will receive £85,000 per month, an arrangement reportedly made after the birth of their daughter Alana to ensure financial security. Ronaldo's net worth is estimated at £1 billion, including hotels, gyms, fashion brands, and a car collection worth £22 million. The wedding was highly private, with only four witnesses and the couple's five children attending; Ronaldo's mother Dolores and other family members were absent, which Portuguese TV hosts suggest may cause family tensions.

HUPU, August 15 — According to The Sun, Cristiano Ronaldo and Georgina Rodriguez signed a prenuptial agreement the day before their secret wedding, agreeing to separate their assets. Portuguese media reports that if the couple divorces, Georgina will receive a monthly payment of £85,000.
The couple held a private wedding at a £30 million mansion in the upscale Cascais neighborhood of Quinta da Marinha.
Even Ronaldo's mother, Dolores, did not attend; the wedding only invited four witnesses and the couple's children.
The 41-year-old football legend Ronaldo and the 32-year-old former shop assistant Georgina have been together for 10 years. They first met in Madrid when Georgina was working at a Gucci store.
Despite the high level of secrecy surrounding the wedding, photos of the couple's marriage certificate have been made public.
The certificate shows that the couple signed the prenuptial agreement at a notary office in Lisbon on August 10th, the day before the official wedding.
The certificate states that Ronaldo and Georgina agreed to adopt the "regime de separacao de bens," meaning "separation of property."
This means that if the marriage ultimately ends, Georgina will not automatically be entitled to half of the wealth accumulated during the marriage.
Instead, each asset will belong to the party who earned or acquired it.
If divorced, Ronaldo and Georgina will each retain the property registered in their own names, and only assets explicitly registered in both names will be jointly owned.
Ronaldo's Business Empire
Statistics earlier this year showed that Ronaldo's net worth reaches £1 billion, along with a vast business empire.
His business interests include:
- Hotels
- Gyms
- Padel tennis clubs
- His own fashion brand
- A film studio
Ronaldo also owns a car collection worth £22 million, with so many vehicles that he himself cannot remember all the models.
In addition, he owns luxury homes worth over £60 million, a private jet, and a yacht.
These assets do not include his daily salary of £488,000 at Al Nassr.
This prenuptial agreement will protect Ronaldo's existing wealth and also arrange for the separation of his future income.
Georgina Also Has Her Own Business Ventures
Georgina herself also has multiple lucrative projects, including:
- Modeling
- Acting
- A fashion brand
- Social media business
However, according to Portuguese media reports and as relayed by Marca, under the agreement, if the couple separates, Georgina will receive £85,000 per month.
It is said that this arrangement began after the birth of the couple's daughter, Alana, to ensure the financial security of Georgina and the children.
There is also a claim that Ronaldo's £5 million mansion in the upscale La Finca neighborhood of Madrid is registered in Georgina's name.
Ronaldo's Mother Apparently Did Not Attend the Wedding Either
Ronaldo's representatives confirmed earlier this week that the player and his long-time partner held a "private" wedding in Cascais on August 11th.
Previously, the couple had posted photos of themselves wearing wedding rings on their respective social media accounts.
At the time, it was unclear exactly where in Cascais the wedding took place, nor who attended besides the children.
Subsequently, *Portuguese newspaper Diário de Notícias revealed details of the wedding. The number of invitees was extremely small, and Ronaldo's mother, Dolores, apparently did not attend.*
Shortly after Ronaldo announced the wedding news, Dolores posted a heart emoji under her son's social media post to express her blessings for the couple's wedding.
Other members of Ronaldo's family also did not attend; only his five children were present — Cristiano Ronaldo Jr. (Mini Ronaldo), twins Eva Maria and Mateo, and Alana and Bella.
Portuguese newspaper Diário de Notícias published a copy of the couple's marriage certificate later on Thursday local time.
Shortly before this document was made public, well-known Portuguese TV host Cristina Ferreira discussed the absence of Ronaldo's family at the wedding.
She said on TVI's program "Dois as 10": "This will cause many problems, because his family was not there at the time."
"And they didn't even know about it."
"Or even if they did, they only knew 30 seconds beforehand."
Co-host Claudio Ramos added: "I really hope that the impression we have here based on the information already available on social media hasn't actually upset his family, and that things aren't as they seem on the surface."
