SportsDusan Vlahovic, the 26-year-old Serbian striker, has agreed to join Turkish club Besiktas as a free agent following his departure from Juventus earlier this summer. Vlahovic scored 68 goals across four-and-a-half seasons in Turin before leaving upon the expiration of his contract. Besiktas announced on Tuesday it was in negotiations to sign the striker. The move follows other high-profile forwards moving to the Turkish Super Lig recently, including Romelu Lukaku and Mason Greenwood joining Fenerbahce, and Mohamed Salah moving to Trabszonspor. Vlahovic was previously one of the most in-demand players in Europe, with Arsenal having shown firm interest before he joined Juventus from Fiorentina in a €75 million deal in January 2022. He was out for over three months last season with an adductor injury, limiting him to 23 games. Prior to Juventus, he scored 49 times in 108 appearances for Fiorentina.
