Mike Lindell, the MyPillow CEO and prominent election conspiracy theorist, lost the Minnesota Republican gubernatorial primary to House Speaker Lisa DeMuth by approximately 11 percentage points and over 45,000 votes, despite an endorsement from former President Donald Trump. Lindell refused to concede the race on his livestream, claiming there were anomalies in the vote count and that 265,000 votes remained uncounted. Trump had posted on Truth Social urging voters to support Lindell on election day. Democratic Representative Ted Lieu mocked Lindell's election conspiracies on social media. The general election will guarantee Minnesota its first female governor, as Democratic Senator Amy Klobuchar won her primary handily. Lindell now returns to his struggling pillow business.
