EntertainmentThe U.S. Navy has announced Operation Morale, Welfare and Recreation (MWR), a program bringing free live entertainment to 50 military installations through April 2027. The initiative aims to help service members and their families relax and build community. The concert series kicked off on August 8, 2026, at Naval Air Station Whidbey Island with performances by Fitz and The Tantrums and Alana Springsteen. Upcoming shows include Teddy Swims with Miranda Lambert at Naval Station Norfolk on August 29, 2026, and DJ Diesel (Shaquille O'Neal) at Naval Station Great Lakes on October 17, 2026. Vice Adm.
