TechRheinmetall has successfully launched its Loitering Munition System FV-014 from the Containerized Missile Launcher, a modular multiple launcher for guided missiles and loitering munitions. The demonstration took place in July 2026 at the National Test Center for Unmanned Aerial Systems of the German Center for Aviation and Space. The FV-014 was launched from a Rheinmetall HX truck both from a standstill and while driving, completing various simulated mission profiles and attack flights. The system is designed for highly mobile operations with a range of up to 100 kilometers, flight duration of up to 70 minutes, and a launch weight of approximately 22 kilograms including a 6-kilogram payload. It features an HEDP warhead capable of penetrating over 60 centimeters of solid armor steel, low-noise electric propulsion, reduced radar and infrared signature, and supports swarm operations. The Containerized Missile Launcher can accommodate up to 18 FV-014 units in a 20-foot configuration and is compatible with existing transport and logistics platforms.
