OtherThe U.S. Navy has announced that female sailors can now purchase newly designed Service Khaki slacks featuring back pockets and modern fit sizing. The update, driven by sailor feedback, is part of a broader uniform modernization effort led by the Navy Exchange Service Command's Clothing & Textile Research Facility. The slacks are made of 75% polyester and 25% wool and are available at multiple Navy Exchange locations across the U.S. and online. Rear Adm. Jennifer Couture stated the change directly results from listening to sailors and aims to improve readiness and professionalism. Male uniform sizes will also be evaluated in the future.
