FinanceRiot Platforms reported Q2 2026 revenue of $174.2 million, beating estimates, though adjusted EBITDA swung to a loss of $69.7 million due to noncash charges. The company highlighted its data center business, which generated $23.2 million in revenue. Riot secured a 191-megawatt, 20-year lease with a leading frontier AI lab at its Rockdale campus, adding to an existing AMD agreement. Total contracted data center revenue now stands at $9.8 billion, with potential to reach $16.1 billion if extensions are exercised. The new lease alone is expected to generate $9.1 billion over its initial term. Riot expects to deliver the first 96 MW by December 2027 and secured a $573 million interim financing facility from Morgan Stanley.
