FinanceGoldman Sachs has announced it will acquire Neos Investments, an exchange-traded funds provider, for up to $2.25 billion. The deal aims to bolster Goldman's presence in asset management, particularly in the actively managed ETF segment. Neos, which manages $30 billion in assets across 19 funds, specializes in systematic options-based income ETFs. Demand for such funds has increased as institutions seek to hedge portfolios against market volatility. This acquisition follows Goldman's earlier purchase of Innovator Capital, another options-based fund provider. The transaction is expected to close in the first quarter of 2027 and will propel Goldman's active ETFs to $80 billion.
