TechLockheed Martin has announced the launch of Strigo, a modular suite of defense solutions designed to speed up the delivery of missile technology. The offering includes radio-frequency (RF) sensors, missile datalinks, and seeker technologies built on a common architecture, enabling rapid reconfiguration for air defense, missile defense, and air-to-surface missions. The company established the Strigo Product Centre less than two years ago as a dedicated development facility, investing $250 million to drive proactive research and deliver hardware aligned with evolving threats. The centre has already moved multiple concepts from design to testing and contributed to the Precision Strike Missile (PrSM) Increment 2 seeker package. Lockheed Martin plans continued investment in RF sensors, missile seekers, and datalink technologies under Strigo to support current munitions development and future US defense capabilities. Stacy Kubicek, vice president and general manager of Lockheed Martin Sensors and Global Sustainment, emphasized that the initiative reshapes how next-generation, mission-ready capabilities are developed and deployed for warfighters.
