OtherThe U.S. Navy has announced that female sailors can now purchase newly designed Service Khaki slacks featuring back pockets and a modernized fit sizing system. The slacks, made of 75% polyester and 25% wool, are the first pants introduced under the new sizing framework, which includes fit types 'Alpha,' 'Bravo,' and 'Delta.' The initiative, led by the Navy Exchange Service Command's Navy Clothing & Textile Research Facility, aims to improve uniform fit and readiness. The new slacks are available at multiple Navy Exchange locations across the U.S. and online. Rear Adm. Jennifer Couture stated the change resulted from listening to sailors' feedback. Male uniform sizes will also be evaluated in the future.
