Cyberattack hits Ceva Logistics warehouses in Europe, disrupting retailers

A cyberattack over the weekend disrupted operations at eight Ceva Logistics warehouses in Europe, causing shipping delays for retail customers. Ceva, a major third-party logistics provider with over 1,000 warehouses globally, has not publicly commented. The Dutch Data Protection Authority and other law enforcement agencies are investigating. Affected retailers, including De Bijenkorf and bol, alerted customers that some personal data may have been compromised, though credit card and payment details were not at risk. Bol suspended data exchanges with Ceva and took some products offline, leading to order cancellations and delays. Ceva's air, ocean, ground, and rail transportation management activities remain unaffected. Some applications and services at the affected distribution centers have been restored for certain customers.
