ConflictUkraine has launched repeated drone attacks on logistics centers of Wildberries, Russia's largest online retailer, since July 18, 2026. The attacks have damaged or destroyed about 20% of the company's warehouse capacity, according to satellite image analysis by Reuters. This has severely disrupted Russia's nationwide logistics network, causing a 50% drop in sales for pickup point operators and merchants. The Russian central bank is monitoring inflation risks, and Sberbank may increase loan default provisions as around 300 companies seek loan restructuring. A Kremlin-linked insider warned of a potential wave of bankruptcies, calling it a heavy blow to the economy. The attacks bring the war directly into the daily lives of ordinary Russians, affecting tens of thousands of small business owners and franchisees dependent on the platform.
