FinanceProcter & Gamble (P&G) announced on August 4, 2026, that it will acquire supplement brand Thorne for $3.8 billion from L Catterton's Flagship Fund. The deal, expected to close later this year pending regulatory approvals, expands P&G's health and wellness division, which already includes Metamucil, Align Probiotic, and New Chapter. Thorne, founded in 1984, generated over $500 million in annual revenue in 2025. The acquisition represents a significant return for L Catterton, which bought Thorne for $680 million in 2023. P&G CEO Shailesh Jejurikar announced the deal on CNBC, noting that consumers under 40 account for the largest share of Thorne's sales.
