Chelsea officially signs Jordan Henderson on two-year contract

Chelsea Football Club has announced the signing of England international midfielder Jordan Henderson on a two-year contract. The 34-year-old, who has won eight major trophies including the Premier League and UEFA Champions League with Liverpool, joins the Blues ahead of the 2026/27 season. Henderson expressed admiration for the club's size, manager, and ownership's ambition. He began his career at Sunderland, made 79 appearances before moving to Liverpool in 2011, where he became captain in 2015 and led the team to Champions League and Premier League titles. He also played for Al-Ettifaq in Saudi Arabia, Ajax in the Netherlands, and Brentford before joining Chelsea. Internationally, Henderson has 91 caps for England, finishing runner-up at Euro 2020 and third at the 2022 World Cup.
