The service is designed to provide a licensed feed of market-moving content, with Trump's @realDonaldTrump account being the largest on the platform with 13 million followers. The launch follows criticism from Democratic Senators Adam Schiff and Elizabeth Warren, who urged the SEC to investigate whether the service violates securities laws, calling it an abuse of the presidency for personal benefit. The SEC declined to comment. Interim CEO Kevin McGurn defended the service as a strategy to monetize proprietary assets through a high-margin recurring revenue stream.
