OtherThe Military Family Advisory Network (MFAN) is expanding its PCS Pantry Restock program to four new areas: Naval Station Norfolk/Hampton Roads (Virginia), MacDill Air Force Base (Florida), San Diego (California), and Seattle/Tacoma (Washington). The program provides newly relocating military families with a $150 pantry box and a $125 Fresh Funds grocery stipend for up to three months via Instacart. MFAN research found over 60% of active-duty families paid more than $1,000 out of pocket for moves, and over 40% reported low food security. The program now serves 17 installations across six states, partnering with Instacart and CVS Health. More than 6,000 families have benefited to date.
