OtherThe Military Family Advisory Network (MFAN) is expanding its PCS Pantry Restock program to four new areas: Naval Station Norfolk/Hampton Roads (Virginia), MacDill Air Force Base (Florida), San Diego (California), and Seattle/Tacoma (Washington). The program provides newly arriving military families with a $150 pantry box and a $125 grocery stipend via Instacart for up to three months. Over 6,000 families have already benefited. The expansion is driven by MFAN research showing over 40% of military families experience low food security and many pay over $1,000 out-of-pocket during moves. CVS Health is a lead supporter, and Instacart handles delivery. Service members with at least one dependent are eligible regardless of rank.
