Barcelona signs 18-year-old Belgian winger Jesse Bisiwu from Club Brugge until 2031

FC Barcelona has officially announced the signing of 18-year-old Belgian winger Jesse Bisiwu from Club Brugge, with a contract running until June 30, 2031. Bisiwu, born on January 22, 2008, has Ghanaian heritage and has represented Belgium at various youth levels. Barcelona views him as a winger with immense potential, citing his speed, explosiveness, dribbling, and vertical penetration. His career highlight came at the 2025 UEFA European Under-17 Championship, where he was named to the tournament's best lineup despite Belgium's semifinal exit. Bisiwu played for OH Leuven's youth academy from 2014 to 2020 before joining Club Brugge. Over the past two seasons, he made 14 UEFA Youth League appearances, scoring 3 goals. Since 2023, at age 15, he has played 36 senior professional matches for Club Brugge's second team, Club NXT, in the Belgian second division, accelerating his development.
