SportsThe English Football Association (FA) has officially announced that Chelsea winger Mykhailo Mudryk's anti-doping suspension has been lifted, effective immediately. The decision follows a resolution of disciplinary proceedings on July 30, 2026, with the agreement of the World Anti-Doping Agency (WADA). Mudryk admitted to an anti-doping rule violation (ADRV) after testing positive for a low concentration of meldonium in an out-of-competition test on October 22, 2024. An independent commission initially imposed a four-year suspension in January 2026, which Mudryk appealed to the Court of Arbitration for Sport (CAS). However, WADA subsequently revised its technical document (TD2027MRL), meaning the detected concentration would no longer be considered a violation. Under the agreement, Mudryk accepted a suspension period equivalent to time already served. He is expected to travel to Hong Kong to rejoin the Chelsea squad.
