SportsSevilla striker Rafa Mir has received authorization to play abroad, allowing him to seek opportunities in other leagues. According to reports, the player is expected to travel to Thessaloniki, Greece, in the coming hours to sign a contract with Aris. Mir had been separated from group training along with several other players as Sevilla's sporting directorate focuses on departures ahead of the LaLiga season opener. The 27-year-old joined Sevilla from Wolverhampton Wanderers in the summer of 2021, making 105 appearances, scoring 24 goals, and providing two assists. Sevilla will host Rayo Vallecano at the Sánchez-Pizjuán on August 15.
