SportsKerim Alajbegović, an 18-year-old Bosnian attacking midfielder, has completed a transfer from Bayer Leverkusen to Juventus Turin for a base fee of just over €30 million, potentially rising to €35 million with bonuses. This makes it the most expensive transfer of an 18-year-old in Bundesliga history, despite Alajbegović never having played for Leverkusen's senior team or in the Bundesliga. He gained his first men's football experience at RB Salzburg and became a World Cup star for Bosnia. Alajbegović rejected a more lucrative offer from Chelsea (up to €40 million) to join Juventus, where he is promised a starting role as a number ten. He signed a five-year contract.
