Barcelona's board of directors has officially approved a project to integrate the structures of the first team and Barcelona B team, as reported by Mundo Deportivo. The move aims to achieve more flexible, efficient, and coordinated management across sports, economics, and operations. Football director Deco and his assistant Bojan will be more directly involved in coordinating between the two teams, maintaining direct communication with first-team coach Hansi Flick and B team coach Belletti. Their responsibilities include team signings and arranging B team players' promotions to the first team. The scouting department head, Joao Pedro Amara, is also part of Deco's team. Previously, youth football director Alexanco, who also managed the B team, will now focus exclusively on the U19 A team and lower-level youth teams.

Hupu Football News – July 29th – According to World Sports, the authority of Barcelona's sports management department within the club's structure is set to expand further, with football director Deco gaining increased influence.
At a regular meeting held this Wednesday, Barcelona's board of directors officially approved the "project to integrate the structures of Barcelona B team and the first team."
The club aims to achieve more flexible, efficient, and coordinated management across competitive, economic, and operational levels through this restructuring. World Sports had previously reported on June 6th that Barcelona intended to reorganize relevant departments; that plan has now been formally implemented.
Following the structural integration, Deco and his assistant Bojan will be more directly involved in coordinating between the first team and Barcelona B team. Bojan currently serves as the coordinator of the football department and is a key assistant to Deco in management. The two will maintain direct communication with first-team coach Hansi Flick and Barcelona B team coach Belletti.
Their coordination responsibilities include not only team transfers but also arrangements for Barcelona B players moving up to the first team—such as which players can train with the first team and which can be called up for first-team matches. Barcelona's head of scouting, Joao Pedro Amalar, is also part of Deco's working team.
Previously, youth football director Alexanco oversaw youth football affairs and managed Barcelona B team. He will no longer be responsible for the B team, instead focusing specifically on supervising all work for Barcelona's U19 A team and below across all youth levels.
