Angers SCO has confirmed that captain Haris Belkebla will be sidelined for approximately one month following surgery.
The club announced on Wednesday evening that Belkebla, "injured in a thigh," "had to undergo surgery, which went perfectly."
The 32-year-old Algerian midfielder had been affected in recent days and was already absent during Saturday's friendly match against Créteil (N1, 2-1). He was also not included in the squad for the training camp scheduled until August 1 in Deauville.
