Bayern sporting director Eberl: Boey, Palhinha, Zaragoza have no future at club

Bayern Munich sporting director Max Eberl has confirmed that the club's summer transfer window is effectively closed for new arrivals — but three current players have been told they have no future at the Allianz Arena.

Transfer Window Complete

Speaking in a press conference, Eberl dismissed ongoing transfer speculation, stating that Bayern's business is done after the arrivals of Ismael Saibari and Nathaniel Brown for €50 million each.

"I smiled every time I read transfer rumors this summer. We wrapped up the transfers of Nathaniel Brown and Ismael Saibari very quickly. I thought it was clear that we were done with arrivals. I smiled when I saw names linked to us. There is 0% truth in those rumors."

Michael Olise Staying Put

Despite persistent links to Real Madrid, Eberl confirmed that French international Michael Olise will remain a Bayern player.

"I understand there was speculation because the World Cup was ongoing, involving Real Madrid and Bayern Munich, probably the two biggest clubs in the world. But it was amusing to see how the speculation kept growing. I thought Real Madrid and we had clearly made our position public, and we said there was no truth in those rumors. I hope this topic is now closed. Michael will return after the Asia tour, and I hope he continues to enjoy himself on the pitch. We are simply happy to have such a player with us."

The likely transfer of Yan Diomandé to Real Madrid effectively ended the Olise rumors, with the Spanish club reportedly using the Frenchman's situation as a smokescreen to finalize the Ivorian winger's arrival.

Three Players Told to Leave

Eberl was blunt about the futures of three squad members, warning they will play no part in the club's plans.

"We have three players that we are ready to let go. They have no future at Bayern. If they want to stay with us, it will be difficult because we are not planning anything with them. They will play no role. That is the case for Sacha Boey, João Palhinha, and Bryan Zaragoza."

The three players have been informed and must now find new clubs.

Squad Stability Elsewhere

Eberl also addressed other squad matters:

• Alphonso Davies will not be leaving the club.
• Konrad Laimer and Josip Stanišić have filled in on the left side of defense.
• The left wing is well-stocked with Luis Díaz, Arijon Ibrahimović, Nathaniel Brown, and Davies.
• Plans to strengthen the left attacking flank were abandoned after signing Saibari.

"We initially wanted to do something on the left side of the attack, but with Saibari we changed our plans. We are better supplied now," Eberl concluded.
