SportsSevilla striker Rafa Mir has received authorization to play abroad, opening the door for a transfer to other leagues. According to reports, the 28-year-old forward will travel to Thessaloniki, Greece in the coming hours to sign a contract with Aris. Mir had been separated from first-team training along with several other players as Sevilla prepares for the new LaLiga season. The Spanish striker joined Sevilla from Wolverhampton Wanderers in the summer of 2021, making 105 appearances and scoring 24 goals with two assists. His departure is part of Sevilla's squad restructuring ahead of their season opener against Rayo Vallecano on August 15 at the Sánchez-Pizjuán stadium.
