SportsBournemouth forward Eli-Junior Kroupi has undergone foot surgery after being injured during pre-season training in Austria. The 20-year-old is expected to be sidelined for three to four months, likely returning in October or November. Kroupi was Bournemouth's top scorer last season with 13 Premier League goals, helping the club finish sixth and qualify for the Europa League. His performances attracted interest from Arsenal and Barcelona, but Bournemouth rejected all offers. To compensate for his absence, the club signed Uruguayan forward Alvaro Rodriguez for £21 million. Bournemouth begins its season under new head coach Marco Rose with an away match against Manchester City on August 23.
