SportsCape Verdean goalkeeper Vozinha, who gained international fame for his performance against Spain in the World Cup, has signed with Chilean club Colo Colo. The 40-year-old goalkeeper, previously at Grupo Desportivo de Chaves in Portugal's second division, will join a squad featuring former FC Barcelona star Arturo Vidal and ex-Real Zaragoza player Tomás Alarcón. Vozinha's salary is reported at 47 million Chilean pesos (over €44,000) per month, placing him in the middle range of the squad. His signing has drawn attention to Chilean football after the country failed to qualify for the World Cup.
