Bayern CEO Dreesen: Olise staying, no contact from Real Madrid

Jan-Christian Dreesen, Bayern Munich's chairman of the board, addressed the media on Tuesday to clarify the situation surrounding winger Michael Olise, effectively putting an end to one of the summer's most persistent transfer sagas.

Dreesen's Firm Stance

When asked directly whether Olise would remain at Bayern, Dreesen responded without hesitation: "Yes, of course."

The 24-year-old French winger has reportedly harbored aspirations to move elsewhere, with particular interest in joining Real Madrid. However, Dreesen made it clear that a departure from Bavaria is not under consideration.

No Contact from Spain

Dreesen dismissed rumors of any approaches from the Spanish giants, stating that he had received:

• "Nor a fax"
• "Nor a call" from Spain

He expressed surprise at the spread of such speculation, adding: "It is astonishing what can end up spreading when you yourself know what the truth is."

Contract and Financial Clarity

Dreesen further emphasized the club's position by noting that "not a single person has said 'if someone offers 200 million euros, we have to sell him.'"

Olise is expected to remain at Bayern for at least another season. The question of a contract extension does not appear to be pressing, as the winger remains tied to the Bavarian club for three more years.
