Professional services group Xeinadin has expanded its presence in Dublin, Ireland, through the acquisition of long-established firm Hayden Brown, according to Irish business media platform Business Plus.
Financial terms of the deal have not been disclosed.
About Hayden Brown
Founded in 1897, Hayden Brown is a Dublin-based audit, accountancy and tax practice. It provides advisory services to businesses, individuals, charities and professional organisations. Its clients operate across sectors including:
- Retail
- Renewable energy
- Professional services
- Entertainment
Strategic Rationale
Hayden Brown partner Stephen Brown commented to Business Plus:
"Xeinadin stood out because its values closely aligned with our own and its model allows firms to retain their local presence and client relationships. Through joining Xeinadin, our clients will benefit from access to a wider range of specialist expertise and international support, while our team gains the backing, resources and career opportunities that come with being part of a larger organisation. We believe this positions the firm strongly for the future and we look forward to being part of the Xeinadin team."
The acquisition brings Hayden Brown's Grafton Street office into Xeinadin's network, strengthening the group's operations in Dublin's city centre.
Xeinadin's Perspective
Xeinadin Ireland managing partner Sandra Clarke told Business Plus:
"Hayden Brown joining our team represents an important addition to Xeinadin, expanding our city-centre presence in Dublin. The firm is well respected within the local business community, with a strong track record of client service and long-standing relationships across a range of sectors. The team's experience will strengthen our audit and tax offering, expand the support available to our clients and give their existing client base more services to grow at scale. The addition of Hayden Brown is a positive step for us, not just in the capital but nationally, and we are delighted to have them on board."
Recent Acquisition Activity
Last year, Xeinadin completed seven acquisitions. The Hayden Brown transaction is part of a further series of strategic investments underway this year. In June, Xeinadin added Fylde Coast-based chartered accountancy practice Crossley & Davis to its network.
