SportsParis Saint-Germain has officially withdrawn from the race to sign Ivorian striker Yan Diomandé from RB Leipzig. In a statement to Sky Germany on Sunday, PSG said the transfer fees and salary demands were 'completely disproportionate and unrealistic,' and that the club would not deviate from its principles of rational financial management and squad balance. The 19-year-old had been PSG's top priority for the summer transfer window and had even reached a contractual agreement with the Parisian club. However, a recent offensive from Real Madrid for the player has changed the dynamic, with Diomandé now potentially heading to the Spanish capital instead.
