Samed Bazdar, whose preseason with Real Zaragoza began after his move to Swedish club AIK fell through, was the only absence in the first of two preparatory sessions on Tuesday. He trained apart from the group alongside Andrés Ubieto as part of a pre-established load distribution, similar to the gradual reintegration of Saidu and Vadillo, who had physical issues. Saidu left the morning session early, and it remains unclear if both will play in Wednesday's match against Utebo. The session was marked by intensity and good vibes. Coach Ibai Gómez closed with a segment for center-backs Diego, Tachi, Barrachina, Carrillo, and David García. Earlier, Peter Ademo shone in a half-field exercise focused on quick combination play, drawing praise from Ibai.
Source report
Samed Bazdar was the only absence during the first of two preparatory sessions scheduled for this Tuesday by Ibai Gómez. The Bosnian's preseason with Real Zaragoza began last Sunday after his proposed move to Swedish side AIK fell through.
Training Details
Bazdar trained apart from the group, almost always alongside Andrés Ubieto, as part of a pre-established load distribution. This approach mirrors the gradual reintegration of Saidu and Vadillo, whose respective physical issues have prevented them from participating normally. Notably, the Ghanaian had to leave the field after the first half-hour of the morning session.
It remains to be seen whether both players will take part in Wednesday's training match against Utebo, or if they will be held back in line with Ibai's principle of taking no unnecessary risks.
Intensity and Focus
Once again, intensity was the dominant note in a training session wrapped in the energy and good vibes that the Zaragoza coaching staff consider essential.
Ibai closed the session with a special segment dedicated to the center-backs. While Monday had seen the full-backs selected for an exhaustive final drill focused on tactical positioning, this time the task fell to Diego, Tachi, Barrachina, Carrillo, and David García — the five center-backs Ibai has brought to Boltaña.
Player Highlight
Earlier, during a half-field exercise aimed at quick combination play and finding and attacking space, Peter Ademo particularly shone. His display of movements, dribbles, and accuracy drew constant and numerous congratulations from Ibai.
