Earlier this month, semiconductor research firm SemiAnalysis reported that Nvidia (NASDAQ: NVDA) was facing major setbacks with its Kyber NVL144 rack-scale solution. According to SemiAnalysis, the server cabinet — designed to house Nvidia's Rubin Ultra architecture — had been delayed by over 12 months, pushing its release to 2028.
Nvidia issued a brief statement asserting that its roadmap remains intact. More recently, CEO Jensen Huang addressed the matter while speaking to reporters at a developer event.
Huang's Response to the Delay Claims
When asked about potential delays in Vera Rubin, Huang stated the reports are "not true." He further explained that "Vera Rubin is already in production. Giant amounts of production incoming."
Although Huang confirmed production, this is not new information — Nvidia had already confirmed the same back in January. It is also worth noting that while Huang addressed chip production, the original report concerned the Kyber rack. Huang did not provide a production timeline, nor did Nvidia in its prior response.
