SportsParis Saint-Germain has officially withdrawn from the race to sign Ivorian striker Yan Diomandé from RB Leipzig. In a statement sent to Sky Germany on Sunday, PSG cited 'completely disproportionate and unrealistic' transfer fees and salary demands as the reason for pulling out. The 19-year-old was PSG's top priority for the summer transfer window and had reportedly agreed to join the club, but a recent offensive from Real Madrid has shifted the situation. PSG emphasized it will not deviate from its principles of rational financial management and squad balance.
