Real Sociedad's Icelandic striker Orri Óskarsson continued his remarkable goal-scoring form by netting in his second consecutive preseason friendly, this time against Wolverhampton Wanderers. The 21-year-old scored from outside the box after going largely unnoticed in the first half, and was substituted at halftime along with other starters. This goal extends his streak to six goals in his last seven matches wearing the txuriurdin shirt, including the final five matchdays of last LaLiga season. Before the summer break, Óskarsson had scored 10 goals in 914 minutes; he now has two goals in just 90 preseason minutes. The article notes that while these are only friendlies, the Icelander's consistency bodes well for the upcoming competitive season.

Orri Óskarsson has carried his recent goal-scoring form for Real Sociedad into England, scoring in his second consecutive friendly while playing only 90 minutes across both matches. The Icelander has now found the net in six of his last seven appearances for the txuriurdin side, including the final games of last season and his preseason outings so far.
Óskarsson started against Wolverhampton, just as he did a week earlier against Racing de Santander. On both occasions, after going largely unnoticed, he capitalized on his first scoring opportunity. This time, his goal carried more merit, coming from a shot outside the box rather than a tap-in from a teammate's assist.
Like the other outfield starters, Óskarsson was substituted at halftime without making any further impact on the match. While he will be pleased to have scored two goals in two preseason games, he is likely disappointed that these are friendlies rather than competitive fixtures.
Extends a Spectacular Streak
Although his goals do not earn points in preseason, Óskarsson can take confidence from the spectacular streak he has maintained in a Real Sociedad shirt. He has celebrated a goal in six of his last seven matches, spanning the final five matchdays of last season's LaLiga and the two preparation games this summer.
Before the summer break, his average was nearly a goal per game, with 10 goals in 914 minutes. He now has two goals in 90 minutes of preseason action.
