WWE officially announces SummerSlam 2026 match cards with 12 bouts across two nights

WWE has officially announced the match cards for SummerSlam 2026, a two-night event on August 2-3 at U.S. Bank Stadium in Minneapolis. The event will feature 12 matches across both nights. Night One (Saturday) includes CM Punk defending the WWE Championship against Cody Rhodes, Brock Lesnar vs. Oba Femi in a Hell in a Cell match (widely expected to be Lesnar's retirement match), Liv Morgan vs. Iyo Sky for the Women's World Championship, Gunther vs. Nick Aldis, The Bloodline vs. LA Knight/Royce Keys/Solo Sikoa, and The Bella Twins/Paige vs. Fatal Influence. Night Two (Sunday) is headlined by Roman Reigns defending the World Heavyweight Championship against Seth Rollins, plus Sami Zayn vs. Finn Balor for a future WWE title shot, a five-way ladder match for the interim Women's Championship, Penta vs. Chad Gable for the Intercontinental Championship, Trick Williams vs. Baron Corbin for the United States Championship, and Danhausen vs. Dominik Mysterio. A possible 13th match (World Tag Team Championship) may be added. WWE ran a ticket discount to boost attendance to nearly 30,000 per night after initially poor sales.
