The 80,000 spectators at the Stade de France will have eyes only for him. On Tuesday, Zinédine Zidane is expected to be named the new coach of the French national team. The successor to Didier Deschamps will begin his tenure on Friday, September 25 in Kocaeli against Turkey (8:45 PM) for the start of the Nations League. He will then travel to Brussels to face Belgium on September 28.
During this extended international break featuring four matches, the French public will have to wait until Friday, October 2 to witness Zinédine Zidane's debut on home soil as the head of Les Bleus.
