SportsJackson Koivun, a 21-year-old who turned professional just weeks ago after a dominant amateur career, won the 3M Open in Minnesota in only his third PGA Tour start. He shot a final round 66 to finish at 25 under par, a tournament record, defeating world number one Scottie Scheffler by three strokes. Koivun, who led Auburn to the national championship and was the low amateur at the US Open, earned $1.584 million. Scheffler, who shot a 63 in the final round, praised Koivun's talent and mental strength. The win moved Koivun to 70th in the FedEx Cup standings, the last playoff qualifying spot.
