Sevilla FC players Rubén Vargas and Djibril Sow are set to join the team's preseason training camp in the Netherlands after their World Cup vacation ends. The Swiss internationals, who were eliminated in the quarterfinals by Argentina, will report for duty as the squad travels from July 30 to August 7. Vargas, whose market value has risen to €15 million after a strong World Cup, has attracted interest from Premier League clubs and may seek a move to play Champions League football. Sevilla hopes to earn around €20 million for the winger. Sow, valued at €7.5 million, has also drawn inquiries, though no formal offers have been made. The team plays friendlies against NEC Nijmegen, Utrecht, and Bayer Leverkusen during the camp.

Squad Updates
Luis García Plaza has yet to recover all his players and continues to distribute minutes between youth academy members and first-team players. In the coming days, he will be able to count on two important pieces of his tactical scheme, who are also assets that could generate capital gains in the transfer market: Rubén Vargas and Djibril Sow.
The Swiss duo are enjoying their last days of vacation after representing their national team at the recent World Cup. Switzerland was eliminated in the quarterfinals, losing 3-1 to Argentina in a match marked by the controversial expulsion of Breel Embolo.
Pre-Season Camp in the Netherlands
Both players will join the team's 'stage' in the Netherlands. The squad will travel and be based there from Thursday, July 30 to August 7 to continue their preparation.
During the camp, Sevilla will play three friendly matches:
- Friday, July 31 – vs. NEC Nijmegen
- Sunday, August 2 – vs. Utrecht
- August 8 – vs. Bayer Leverkusen (at the BayArena, Germany)
Transfer Market Situation
Rubén Vargas
Vargas' strong performance at the World Cup has made him Sevilla's highest-profile player on the market. According to Transfermarkt, his valuation has risen to €15 million, up from €12 million in June. Several clubs, including some from the Premier League, have monitored the former Augsburg winger, but he postponed any decision on his future until after the World Cup.
Vargas has not ruled out a departure. "I want to play in the Champions League one day," he commented last month. Sevilla's intention is to earn around €20 million for the player.
Djibril Sow
Sow also has market interest, with several clubs having inquired about the exit conditions for both the midfielder and the club. No formal offer has been received yet, but any proposal that arrives at the Nervión offices will be studied.
Sow was one of the players who agreed to renegotiate his contract last season to help the club with registrations. According to Transfermarkt, his market value stands at €7.5 million.
