Sporting CP insists on a minimum transfer fee of €40 million, with additional performance-related clauses that could generate another €50 million in future revenue. A principle agreement has been reached, but details remain to be finalized. The player is a target personally requested by Nottingham Forest's new head coach Oliver Glasner, who previously attempted to sign him while at Crystal Palace. Sporting CP has already signed Ibrahima Ba as a replacement for Diomande, suggesting the deal is near completion.
