According to a report from Hupu Soccer, citing transfer expert Fabrizio Romano, Arsenal has reached an agreement to sign 16-year-old Cardiff City talent Axel Donczew. Donczew made his first-team debut for Cardiff City in an EFL Cup match in October 2025, becoming the youngest player in the club's history. He has already completed his medical at Arsenal and is set to officially join the club this week. Donczew is an attacking multi-purpose player developed by Cardiff City's youth academy, capable of playing as a winger or attacking midfielder. He has represented Wales at various youth levels and also holds Polish nationality.
