SportsMohamed Salah is reportedly close to joining Turkish club Beşiktaş on a free transfer after leaving Liverpool. The Egyptian forward has agreed in principle to a contract running until 2027, with an option to extend until 2028, worth €12 million per year. Beşiktaş head coach Vincenzo Italiano is personally pushing to convince Salah of the sporting project. Despite interest from Saudi Arabia and the US, Salah's preference to stay in European football has strengthened Beşiktaş's position. The deal is not yet official, but confidence is growing in Istanbul that final paperwork and financial details can be resolved within days. If completed, it would be one of the most significant transfers in Turkish football history.
