José Mourinho's Real Madrid will make its debut this Friday. As MARCA has learned, the opponent will be Alcorcón, in a Madrid derby that — although a training match rather than a friendly — will serve both teams to begin their preseason preparations.
The match will be played behind closed doors. Unlimited substitutions will be permitted, and coaches may make all the adjustments they wish during the game.
Alcorcón to Present New Kit
Alcor will also take the opportunity to debut its new kit. The club plans to present it this Thursday, with the intention that it will be worn for the first time on Friday against Real Madrid.
On the white side, there will be many absences, as the club's main stars are on vacation following the World Cup.
The duel will also serve as the first test for José Mourinho in his return to Concha Espina. The coach, who returned this summer to Madrid after his departure in 2013, will thus 're-debut' against Alcorcón.
On the Alfarero bench, Fran Justo will also make his debut as the new occupant, following the departure of Pablo Álvarez, who has joined Carlos Corberán's staff at Valencia.
What Time Is the Real Madrid vs. Alcorcón Match?
The preseason match between Real Madrid and Alcorcón will take place on Friday, July 24, in the afternoon at 5:30 PM.
The match will be played behind closed doors and, therefore, will not be broadcast on any television channel or platform. However, all the latest updates can be followed on MARCA.COM.
