Tbilisi – The brother of a PSG star is dazzling everyone. Tornike Kvaratskhelia (16), the younger brother of PSG superstar Khvicha Kvaratskhelia (25), made a huge impression in his starting debut for Dinamo Tbilisi in the Conference League playoffs. In the match against Lithuanian club Zalgiris (3-0), the Georgian top talent delivered a performance reminiscent of his famous brother.
The left winger repeatedly stormed down the flank, boldly took on opponents in one-on-one situations, and drove the opposing defense to despair with his quick dribbling. The parallels to his famous brother were unmistakable. Just like Khvicha, Tornike loves taking risks and speeds past defenders.
Particularly remarkable: It was only his first start on the international stage. However, the 16-year-old showed no signs of nerves. The Georgian sports site "Sportall" commented: "It was a pleasure to watch Kvaratskhelia play."

Coach Temur Kezbaia (58) was also enthusiastic after the game:
"I am satisfied with Tornike. He showed in his first game that he can play great football. He is 16 years old, trains hard, but he is not yet ready for 90 minutes. He was fouled often, but he was still one of the best. He has everything, he is in no way inferior to Khvicha, and I hope he will meet the expectations."

Tornike Already Trained at Bayern
FC Bayern has also been keeping an eye on Tornike's development. In May, the teenager completed a trial training session at the campus of the German record champions. At the time, Sporting Director Christoph Freund confirmed that the Georgian trained in Munich and even took part in a test match. Even then, the offensive player left a strong impression. In an internal U17 test against the Global Academy of Bayern legend Klaus Augenthaler, Tornike even scored a remarkable goal. Munich's scouts attested to his great technical potential.
An immediate move to Munich is not possible, however. Since Tornike is not an EU citizen, he cannot simply move to Bayern before his 18th birthday. Nevertheless, the jewel is considered a hot candidate for the future.
