Tiny Vinyl, the Nashville-based company known for producing miniature, playable four-inch vinyl records, has launched a dedicated tabletop turntable called the Tiny Vinyl Player. Priced at $49.99 and available exclusively at Target, the player features a belt-drive motor spinning at 33 1/3 RPM, built-in speakers, Bluetooth connectivity, a headphone jack, and a storage compartment for records. Co-founder Jesse Mann stated the player was developed in response to fan and retailer demand. Tiny Vinyl records, which hold about four minutes of music per side, launched widely in summer 2025 and have featured artists including Noah Kahan, Chappell Roan, Olivia Rodrigo, Blink-182, and The Rolling Stones. The company recently pressed its one millionth record. Alongside the player, Tiny Vinyl also introduced a matching storage crate and a display frame. The company aims to expand its offerings, potentially packaging demo tracks with full-length releases or pairing studio singles with behind-the-scenes audio.
Source report
Tiny Vinyl — the company known for producing pocket-sized records — has introduced a tabletop player designed specifically for its collectible four-inch discs. The Tiny Vinyl Player costs $49.99 and is available exclusively via Target.
"When we built the concept of Tiny Vinyl, we were like, 'Let's make sure this plays on as many existing record players as possible,'" said Jesse Mann, a music industry veteran and co-founder of Tiny Vinyl. "But we had so many inbound emails from fans asking us to make a player. Target asked us to make a player. So we were like, 'You know what? Let's see what we can do.'"
Background
Tiny Vinyl launched widely in summer 2025 through a retail partnership with Target. The records hold approximately four minutes of music on each side and can be played on most traditional turntables. Produced as limited-edition collectibles, artists who have released singles via the format include:
- Noah Kahan
- Chappell Roan
- Kacey Musgraves
- Olivia Rodrigo
- Lainey Wilson
- Blink-182
- The Rolling Stones
- BTS
- And many others
Earlier this year, the company pressed its one millionth record, Mann said.
Tiny Vinyl Player Specifications
The Nashville-based company aims to meet collector demand by creating complementary products, starting with the Tiny Vinyl Player. Priced below most entry-level turntables, it offers an affordable gateway to record collecting. Key features include:
- Belt-drive motor spinning the four-inch turntable at 33 1/3 RPM
- Built-in speakers with Bluetooth connectivity for external speakers
- Headphone jack and suitcase cabinet-style design
- Built-in storage compartment for holding several Tiny Vinyl records
"We really wanted to make it approachable and affordable for either someone who's just getting into vinyl or just wants something adorable and fun and cute on their desk," Mann said.
Additional Products
Alongside the player, Tiny Vinyl unveiled this month a matching storage crate that can be stacked underneath the player, as well as a display frame that holds four records.
Future Plans
Mann hopes to continue expanding the Tiny Vinyl lineup. Potential developments include packaging a Tiny Vinyl featuring demo tracks with a new full-length release, or pairing a studio single on the A side with behind-the-scenes audio content on the B side.
"At the end of the day, our goal here is to just have fun, right?" Mann said.
