SportsManchester City announced on Wednesday that Phil Foden, a 26-year-old English forward and academy product, has signed a contract extension keeping him at the club until 2030. Foden, who has been with the senior team since 2017, has made 369 appearances and scored 110 goals for City. Under manager Pep Guardiola, he has won 20 titles and was named the Premier League's best player for the 2023-2024 season. However, his form has dipped slightly this season, contributing to his exclusion from Thomas Tuchel's England squad for the upcoming World Cup. Notably, Foden will soon experience life under a new club coach for the first time, as Enzo Maresca is set to replace Guardiola.
